Sleepless in Menopause?
Dear sisters with a deep desire for eight uninterrupted hours,
They said being a mature woman would be sophisticated. They did not say it would involve 47 nightly wake-ups, a battle with the thermostat, and a full-body pillow rotation that could qualify as an Olympic event.
Here’s to us: the midnight thinkers, the 3 a.m. scroll queens, the women who now consider 9:30 p.m. a "wild night.” Maybe we're all just one good night’s sleep away from taking over the world, but until then, we settle for chamomile tea, blackout curtains, and Googling "home remedies for night sweats."
Or do we?
What if I told you the key to a good night's sleep might be something you already have? What if you could learn of a new practice or tool that could restore your sleep in a way that would bring energy and vitality back to your days?
Our next meeting, on April 26 from 2-4, takes on all things sleep! Join us for:
Solutions crowdsourced from women like you
A simple yoga practice to promote rest and relaxation
A supportive community of women who understand the challenges of midlife
Let’s sleep better, feel better, and maybe even laugh a little along the way.
Until then, try Legs Up the Wall for better sleep. This pose
Promotes Deep Relaxation
Enhances Circulation
Relieves Physical Tension
Sweet dreams (and better mornings ahead!),
Silke and Ashley
